- Northeastern Coast: This region encompasses Port Said, Arish, and Rafah.
- Delta North Coast: This area includes Rashid, Ras El Bar, Gamasa, Damietta, and Azbet El Borg.

How to Get to the North Coast
Travelers heading to the North Coast typically take the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, followed by the Wadi El Natrun-Alamein Road, and then continue on the International Coastal Road, which leads to Marina, Alamein, Marsa Matrouh, and other destinations.
The journey to the coast used to take more than 3 hours, covering a distance of approximately 270 kilometers. However, with the recent opening of new roads, there are now alternative routes that save travelers a significant amount of time and effort.
The New Route to the North Coast: Rod El Farag Axis
Travelers heading to the North Coast can now save significant time by taking the Rod El Farag-Dabaa Axis. The first and second sections of this route have been completed. The Rod El Farag-Dabaa Axis begins at the Khalafawy Square on the Nile Corniche, opposite the Aga Khan Towers, heading towards the Ring Road at Bashtil. The road runs parallel to the 26th of July Axis, passing behind the Smart Village and in front of the properties in Sheikh Zayed and October areas, intersecting with the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, and continues through the Rod El Farag Axis which intersects with the Regional Ring Road.
You Can Also Travel to New Alamein
During your journey on the Rod El Farag-Dabaa Axis, specifically at kilometer 210, you will find a junction leading to the properties of New Alamein City. This route connects to the International Coastal Road, significantly reducing both distance and travel time. You can now reach the North Coast from Cairo in less than two hours, covering a distance of approximately 253 kilometers. The new road is a freeway, featuring bridges and tunnels, allowing for speeds up to 160 kilometers per hour.
